I think if I cannot get this at the AD, I will not pay a premium to get it.

I am not sure where you are located, but I remember seeing on 17 Oct at 4:00pm they will be selling a limited number of 806s on the US Breitling website. Might be worth looking into.

Thanks, I'm currently in India, but will travel to Kuwait tomorrow. I will check that website.

Depending if you were looking to get a discount, these prices aren’t too bad. One is for sale here on TRF also for 9k.

I got mine directly from AD with 4% off MSRP, but after my NY taxes, ended up paying 9k our the door.

I love the watch! I’d been pining for a vintage 50’s 806 but good examples never come up and now I have one that I can wear with 5y warranty and he water resistance. Chronos that I’ll use liberally, I love it!

I do have a 1964 806 that I wear so carefully since I’m sure it’s not waterproof, and chronos I never touch. Haha.

Alright, picked mine up in Houston today. Very happy with it. Absolute perfection. It's not at all too big on my 7" wrist. In fact, it's the perfect size. The strap is pretty substantial and comfortable.

Very happy with the purchase. No buyer's remorse...

Mine is no. 442. What numbers are y'alls? I wonder if numbers are correlated with the sale location or the order number...

Hope to collect mine end of next week - where should I look for the number? Is it engraved somewhere on the case or in the literature?

so at what point would you guys say one would need to call their AD and ask 'uhhhh so where's mine??' I mean beyond the 'hey just calling to check in and see if there's been any word yet' type of call. I've already done that one a couple times

I'm starting to knock on that door myself - put a 50% deposit down but my guy has never let me down yet. Stopping by the AD this Friday to grab two Rolex incomings so I'm hoping he surprises me by having the re-edition behind his back.

Ironically it's the one I'm most excited about!

As of mid October, only about 20% of the watches shipped from a very reliable source.

Still waiting for mine ... my AD surprised me with an SS SkyD in the meantime so that was nice - still itching for my Navitimer!

I got to handle and try on this watch yesterday at my AD. It is very cool and looks great. Way too small for my wrist though and it wears much smaller than 41mm in my opinion. A plus for some and for others not so much.

Interesting, mine's number 441, bought in Sydney, Australia, so location doesn't seem to be a factor with the numbering! Mine was the first one to Australia apparently. Loving it, it's a beautiful watch.

This picture really highlights the domed plexiglass crystal, one of the details I really like.

Just saw this live at the NYC boutique. Beautiful piece. Great size that actually wears smaller than on paper. I still think these will be plentiful in the second hand market so holding off for now. That being said, can’t blame anyone for picking it up. Truly spectacular watch.

Was it for sale? or was it pre-sold?
