AP ROC 25860 reference help.

Can someone point me to a detailed reference guide for original dial colors?

The reference ‘sticky’ above doesn’t help.

I am looking at several different 25860st with blue dials but some are listed as .03 and others are .04.

It’s a mix of blue dials and others are black dials.

Which reference signifies an original blue dial from factory for a 25860st?

25860ST.OO.1110ST.03

or

25860ST.00.1110ST.04

Anyone know for sure?

Thx

I recall the answer isn't entirely straightforward, and dug out my notes from a long time ago:

01 is black.

02 is the original blue dial.

Around 2002 AP discontinued these and released new dials with a Grand Tapisserie pattern:

03 is dark blue / dark grey / black - depending on the lighting conditions and angles you looked at it. As a result, online pictures were often misleading.

04 is the 'new' blue dial, called 'cosmos blue'. It looks like it has a shine to it.

05 is white.

Thank you for the details.

Very helpful.

I assumed it had to do with AP changing the reference extensions or dials in some way but could not locate enough information to make sense of it.
