ROLEX Submariner Z754008

Had this rolex for a year as a gift from Granddad, sadly i broke the White dot pipe.. wanted to see if i can fix or sell, went to a local shop & he claimed that it might be fake? i was surprised, can u guys tell?

Damn, well it was a gift from my uncle to granddad & he gave it to me as he said its too heavy for him, welp... may i know please what makes it fake? thank you

I'm certainly no expert, but:

- hands are too short and the wrong shape
- dial text, font and placement are wrong
- the bezel insert looks like plastic and the numbers were stamped by a storage unit pill press
- the bracelet looks like it has polished centre links

I'm sure there's more but that's a pretty good place to start. I would be hoping for a fair bit of change from a 20 for this bad boy.
