Heard in uk ADs.
Outside a southern England AD today. Unwelcoming barrier present? Check.
Surly sales advisers looking bored? Check. Windows empty apart from a couple of Cellini, lady datejust and TT men DJ? Check. Chap comes by. Looks monied. Not his first rodeo? Check. Enquires about a rose gold 40mm oyster flex yacht master. Told that “since it’s a professional model, it’s very difficult” and “we haven’t seen one in well over a year.” Chap walks off disgusted? Check. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Silly anti-AD anti-Rolex projection.

I saw rose gold 40mm oyster flex yacht master sitting in the display window last week in one London AD. Believed it was not Exhibition Only.

All the Rolex dealers in the old days had secure locked doors.....bell then enter. Made sense really.

At my local UK AD the only stainless steel visible is the door handle.

Passed by Heartrow T2 yesterday and the store was stocked with real watches, but for exhibitions purposes only naturally. Unsure who they are selling to, but was nice to see a sub for a change. The bluesy is much nicer than I thought, but not for me

Honestly, not sure why they need the display case anymore.. since it's mostly empty.

When I got my RG YM there were only two in stock in the county my AD got mine direct from Rolex waited a few days. PM watches are now just as scarce as SS counter parts.

Where was the Cellini?
If you think they’re unwanted, think again. Out of stock everywhere and I’m after one. If you saw one, I’d like to know where. |

126655 is very easy to get though, I’ve seen it so many times ready to buy. Last time was in an airport.
