Bracelet purchase opinions…
Hey all.
I was wondering about opinions on a bracelet purchase. I had contacted the Omega 5th Ave boutique about purchasing the 22mm mesh bracelet with Ploprof style clasp. All in, it’s just under $1000 for the bracelet and clasp, which are sold separately. I found this 22mm Staib bracelet I had purchased years ago, and put it on my Planet Ocean, and am kinda digging it. My only hang up is that the clasp is not an Omega one. But, I worry with the 45.5mm size of the PO that the Ploprof clasp will wear really big. I have the same Omega bracelet and clasp on my 300M, and it wears fine, but that watch is quite a bit smaller in comparison. So, I don’t think the girth of the Ploprof clasp is an issue. What would you guys recommend? Go ahead with the OEM Omega bracelet, or just stick with the Staib? I haven’t even looked to see if the clasp can be removed from this bracelet, and exchanged for an Omega one. I have attached pics of my PO on Staib, and my 300M on OEM Omega. Thanks for any feedback!
