How long for a factory order
Just curious how long it typically takes these days for a factory order? The AD I used out in an order for me this past Friday and just trying to get an idea if it’s a matter or days or weeks?

Depends what you ordered. Have not had the experience specifically with Omega, but my AD made a factory order with Rolex before the craziness and that was 3-4 weeks as a reference.

What did you order? Also, didn't the dealer give you a sense for how long fulfillment would take?

How long for a factory order
I ordered an aqua terra. Dealer said the watch is already in the US so it should be pretty fast. This seemed a little off to me though? Does swatch group store inventory in the US that’s not claimed yet for Ad?

If Omega has it in stock in New Jersey then you should see it within a week.

Mine took about a month. I was told they have ready stock but still took 4 weeks, which shouldn’t take that long as they are all air shipped. So makes me wonder maybe they only sent the ready stock through METAs when an AD or boutique orders it?

I don't think there is any reason to disbelieve what your dealer says. |

Just to provide an update. It’s been 8 days since I ordered and paid in full. Still no eta or update from AD.

Go to the Omega website. See if the watch is available to order now. If it is, go to your AD and ask for an update. If you don’t like what you hear, get your money back and order direct from Omega.

Just to update this thread. The watch was ordered on 10/15, arrived at the ad on 10/25, but the box has not arrived yet. AD mailed the watch out today and will send the box separately when it arrives.

To add another data point, my OB ordered a PloProf in August and it was on my wrist within a week, if not just a few days.

My Seamaster came in a week from Omega to my AD. That was back in September.

The OP’s narrative is instructive - sometimes the watch isn’t the long pole in the tent.
So, to recycle a phrase from one of my favorite movies, “Mr. President, we cannot allow a mineshaft gap!”… The factories have a watchbox gap! It’s not the watchmaker’s fault. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

I could take more than 3 weeks, considering the time it took a friend to get his after he ordered.
