Buying a 14060M, details to check with seller

I'm in discussions with a guy to buy his 14060M, 2-liner Z serial.

Is there anybody who has researched and and bought this watch before and could fill me in on the following?

1) Are the end links solid or not?
2) How many links by default are provided?
3) What's the bracelet reference on this watch?
4) Is the bracelet reference stamped on the clasp?
5) Is the bracelet serial stamped on the clasp? (My 16710 has the serial in the format [letter][letter][num][num] stamped on the clasp, what's the format for the 14060M bracelet? And is there a resource where I can check that the bracelet serial matches the Z serial)
6) Is the serial number engraved between the lugs?
7) In terms of the dial, is there anything I should be looking forward to check for authenticity? (I know it's supposed to say Swiss Made at the bottom)

Lastly - is there anything else I should be aware of when purchasing this watch?

Great advice here. Always remember too, “buy the seller.”

Does the 2-liner Z serial have an engraved rehaut?

No. Engraved rehaut on the 14060M began on M serial along with 4 lines of text in 2007-2008.

I would ask about service history. Full service is ~$1k.
I would ask about stretch in the bracelet and if the clasp functioning ok.

I would never buy from a guy. Not interested in troubles and gladly pay more for a worry free transaction from a reputable seller.
Seeing that you don’t have sufficient knowledge about Rolex watches I suggest you do the same. Thank me later

This is putting it bluntly but I have to agree 100%! OP, do be careful and re-consider buying from some guy and take the above advice! Subs are probably the most faked of all Rolexes, and the used market is an absolute minefield unless you're a real expert! But good luck!

I did just that, I’ve been looking for sometime and just received a LNIB semi-stickered full set, 14060M, 2 liner, D serial from DavidSW and couldn’t be happier. I didn’t lose a wink of sleep worrying. I probably paid a little more for the watch but I received exactly what I wanted with no hassle.

I wish you luck OP........

Sorry for the crummy pic, just a truck driver, NOT a photographer!

Same watch I have (M two-liner, Z serial). It is a great watch. Congratulations on your purchase.
