Hottest Omega?

Hey guys, new to the forums and have only owned a few Rolexes in the past but would really like to diversify my collection. What are some of the hottest Omegas out there in your opinion? I'm a fan of the speedy's (kind of like the vintage ones better myself) but I honestly don't know a ton about Omegas so I'm looking to you guys for suggestions! Thanks in advance!

The Seamater is a famous line. A few of the Bond watches were Seamasters.

Speedmasters aside, vintage Seamaster 300’s are commanding Rolex money and the Seamaster 120 is one of several up and comers. There’s a lot of diversity in the Omega back catalog.

Personally, I’d recommend 1950s through 1960s...

Seriously, though....real Speedmaster with manual wind movement is a good start...vintage if you can afford it, contemporary if not. And if you want watch a with Snoopy, I recommend the ones with the moving dog hands.

This is the cool part of the journey. Get out to a local boutique/AD and see what sings to you. Have fun.

Speedy Pro Hesalite is the best Omega IMO.

There's only 1 hot Omega: the speedy pro, the original with the hesalite crystal. Here's mine.

For me, it’s the 60th anniversary Speedmaster, Railmaster and then Seamaster 300. Of course don’t forget the Speedmaster Pro Hesalite.

I'd also recommend the Seamaster Planet Ocean Liquid Metal LE. Comes with the 2500 co-axial movement and solid caseback keep the proportions relatively svelte at 14mm thick compared to the 2nd gen and current gen which are massively chunky.

I prefer the Speedmaster line-up and that really leaves it wide open as Omega has made a lot of models. I currently own two Speedmaster's with the Co-Axial movement in 44.25 size. I like the sapphire crystal and the exhibition case back as well as the automatic movement. Go try some on and you will know.

I agree wholeheartedly... it is the best PO, bar none.

Thanks for all the suggestions and info everyone! I'm pretty dead seat on a Speedy now, especially after seeing these pics! Love the black dial Speedmaster Professional

I like the Omega logo on the hesalite crystal Marc.

Cool feature.
