There's just something about that blue. Man, makes me want to go to my AD and pick one up. Oh wait...... There's no inventory anywhere at any AD lol

I got very lucky last October. But you are right inventory at ADs is NOT Rolex’s strong point. Lol.

Really undecided. The double index design makes it a bit more interesting, but the indicies are too big, if they were more narrow (like in old times) it might look better.

Both watches are great and impress with their simplicity.

It's a beauty!!! Is it a 36mm or 41? I'm feeling drawn again to the 36s after just getting my 41!!!

I was fortunate enough to acquire a couple of years ago this OP 36mm white dial with fluted bezel and diamonds. A rare combination indeed for an OP.

What do you think? is that rare ?

Yes, I think the double indexes were a "throwback fail" for exactly the reason you state. They look cool on older models since they either have no lume or lume dots at the tips. No double-lume markers, which do not maintain the aesthetic of their predecessors.

It's part of why I like the 34mm over the 36mm for the current versions.

Thought I'd bump this as it's a bit buried. Still loving the 41.

Yeah! Newbie to The forum and although I have a 16610 submariner, I love the reference 6284 semi bubbleback I bought locally here in Ohio. Can't post pictures yet because I don't have 10 most but when I do I'm supposed to picture of the 6284 with a 1955 serial date
