A rude and unnecessary comment getting an awful response is a lose-lose situation IMO.

I love it….I have a white dial milgauss and the only thing I do not like is that high polish amd the amount of finger prints it attracts……enjoy

Still showing as polished on the website so looks like a possible error?

Thanks mate. It’s from this article. In my opinion the most underrated Rolex.

I love my Milgauss and am intrigued to find out the story behind the brushed case. My guess is it’s something that was a mistake.

I think the AD brushed it and covered it up with stickers. This wasn’t a factory job.

And your proof is what? Why would they go through all that trouble and potentially lose their AD status? They could make more selling it pre owned without brushing the lugs and re stickering.

I must be the oddity, but I like it polished as well. In my opinion it gives more depth to the overall look of the watch.

Oh my god, this is awful to see. Kids - if you're going to consider brushing a perfectly good Rolex, please make sure you get someone who knows what they are doing - and not someone who leaves the polished finish on the inner edges of the centre links. This is so badly done - and I don't say this to be mean to the owner here, just - I mean - god, someone has to point this out, right?!

Looks like a normal Milgauss, but with a million scratches.

YUCK. It's like the AD just "Cape Cod-ded" the visible sections. That's some god awful craftsmanship. Check my sig. But yours definitely isn't. Sorry, mate.

Cape cod gives a shiny finish, not brushed.

It’s a train wreck. Maybe in person it doesn’t look as bad but I doubt that.

I happy my watch stirs up so many feelings here :)
The watch looks great in my book…..we all like different ones……
The job was done some years ago and it has for sure gotten plenty of dings and scrathes since. So its probably time for a new brushing episode soon. Will post more and better pics afterwards..…without the polished parts its looks more like a tool watch then the parfume version Rolex released……
