The job was done some years ago and it has for sure gotten plenty of dings and scrathes since. So its probably time for a new brushing episode soon. Will post more and better pics afterwards..…without the polished parts its looks more like a tool watch then the parfume version Rolex released……

Haha I like your response - taking it in your stride. Many here wouldn’t with this sort of criticism (including my critique).

Kudos to you.

Perfect attitude…as long as you like it who cares what others think, it’s not their watch. I’d never do it to mine but it’s all a matter of personal preference.

Pay your money and wear your watch don’t care what anyone else thinks.
If you ask the question you might not like the answer that’s why there is choice.

Hmmm. Either the OP was trolling, went on vacation, or his AD asked him to stop commenting in this thread? I was looking forward to seeing the mystery solved.

This is super interesting. The marketing collateral on Rolex's website still shows the high polish lugs, too.

OP has been kidnapped and boinked by ROLEX. rolex would never admit to an error in manufacturing like this.

For the record, I prefer the polished lugs. I embrace PCLs too.

Or possibly the truth - inquiring minds want to know.

Seems pretty certain that “wesleyvs” = Wesley Van Schaften, as signed on his website, which also links to the same chrono24 seller.

Milgauss brushed lugs update

Who would have even reserved that?

The seller has mentioned scratches where the bracelet has been removed a few times to ensure the watch is genuine?!

Doesn’t really scream confidence to perspective buyers. Obviously those on TRF know the story, but the majority of visitors to Chrono24 are not TRF members.

So let me get this right;

It’s a watch that has been listed for sale as new, but has had its authenticity questioned, has also got slight damage, and may possibly have not been produced properly.

And this is being sold for a premium?

You can tell that the market is at an all-time low (or high, depending on how you see it).

But this is still THE one.

I bought it for it’s features and I would not change one thing.

If you like the brushed finish Wesley then keep it.

Or send it back and have it replaced.
