I agree. We have several of each brand. Omega much more compares and even surpasses Rolex. Tudor is more in line with Breitling. We have several of those as well and others and like most brands.

My very first high end watch was an Omega Seamaster quartz. (Yes, I know, but I was all of 20 and didn't have enough credit on my first Visa card to get the Rolex Air King.) I wore it to death and sold it a few years ago for more than I paid for it in 1988.
Since then, I have had the Speedy and now have the Seamaster 300 Master Co-Axial, but never a Tudor. I debated between the Tudor Chrono with the panda dial and the Seamaster and am happy I went with the Seamaster. Without an Omega in my collection, I'd feel that it would be incomplete.

I have a Tudor Black Bay GMT and an Omega Seamaster Diver 300M co-axial. Both are fantastic but the Omega edges ahead of the Tudor in almost every category.
I know that price doesn’t always equate to which is better but the top end Tudors are priced at the bottom end of Omega. In my book Omega is in a different category. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
