Words can't describe how hideous and tacky it looks

I think it looks pretty neat. Different strokes for different folks as they say. The dial is a bit busy, yes, but you have to respect the level of quality and attention into the gem setting even if it isn’t your cup of tea. Most manufactures can’t even hold a candle to Rolex’s quality of stones and hand gem setting.

Take a look at some of the articles that details the difficulty Rolex goes through to produce some of these pieces. It’s not an easy task to source and cut those precious stone dials and not to mention finding perfectly matching colored sapphires for the RBOW DD36s, etc. After you read you’ll start to appreciate they even offer these variants for us to purchase.

I'd definitely wear that oysterflex version.

I was shown the watch (oysterflex version) at Baselworld 2019. You just have to understand that this watch is not about Rolex-the-watchmaker, which is what this forum is all about. This is showcasing Rolex's skills, talent and knowledge as a jeweler. And it’s harder than it looks.

I wrote about it here: https://www.rolexmagazine.com/2019/1...-of-tiger.html

I actually like it....way better than the Rainbow, IMO. I could do without the diamonds on the bracelet and lugs, but I really like the dial.

I know it's way out there compared to the typical restraint that Rolex uses for most of its models. But I rather like it - that is to say that I would wear the absolute CRAP out of it!!!

But I like going against the grain and setting my own style.

I personally wouldn’t wear it. But I know a certain lady that would. It’s basically jewellery.

Not for me. Will look good on a sexy lady, somewhere beautiful.

More interested how you got out of your house in Australia to get them?

Thanks for posting the pictures. Rolex stone setting is second to none.

Still not for me. This is a case where the watch is wearing the person and not the other way around.

X2

I personally don’t think this watch was actually meant to be worn. It’s more of a showpiece.
