Thanks for posting! I like the green 5930 and the green 5905 on bracelet.

Change metal, add green dial and maybe an Aquanaut bracelet. The new PP collection update approach.

I like the RG 5204 though.

Surprisingly 5930P is my favorite among those. Much better looking that 5930G given the white cities ring. This one may well remain rare as I don't expect them to make it for more than one or two years. The problem is that I have no use for a chrono on a WT.

5905/1A looks even bigger and bulkier than its PM siblings. Certainly not for me.

So brilliant! Cancel your hottest watch, the 5711/1a, and issue exciting new releases. Like a 5930 with a totally new dial color: green, no one's thought of doing that. And how about the 5905, since even the few people who know it exists don't like it? Put it on the Aquanaut bracelet which everyone (except me) hates and you can produce a watch that's both hated and unknown. God willing, it won't sell and ADs will have something to display in their cases.

The Aquanaut-esque bracelet doesn’t suit the 5905 in my opinion. I wish they’d taken the same route that they did with the 5172, but then critics would fault Patek for being unoriginal – more so than they already do. The 5930p looks pretty interesting. Personally I couldn’t pull it off but I can see younger lads and ladies being able to.

Not a ton of effort being made here I’d say. I’m sure the chrono will be a unicorn, just because

Underwhelming.

Thankfully this will only serve to make the 5172G Chrono more desirable.

Nah I don’t see it. Think it’s too bulky to be that widely adopted. Could be wrong though!

5960/1A was not very popular initially due to the bracelet. A lot of people replaced the bracelet with a strap.

With a different bracelet on the 5905/1A, with a slightly higher price, we will see how the popularity will be. The 5905P prices were lower than the 5960P. At $59K USD for the 5905/1A, it isn't cheap, but it isn't too expensive. Typically the $50k barrier limits interest for a lot of people. But I am sure speculators will pick thes up.

The strap lacks PP class. Tacky.

I really like the 5905. The Aqua bracelet is a good fit since this is a thick watch. I'm sure VIPs will snatch up this piece.

5905 will definitely not be case fodder. 2-3x msrp book it.

I think the bracelet looks far better here than on the aqua.

With the steel version, I see one plus with this generating slightly more interest into ACs.

It’s a better attempt with the bracelet but still not a fan (mainly because it felt like or basically just slapped an Aquanaut bracelet on it). They really need to work in that department.

I was secretly hoping for a 5205P with a salmon dial

The green dial on the 5930P along with the green strap is certainly a bold step for Patek. I don't think they have made many watches with green dials before, except for some LE watches. Patek often follows a WG new release watch with a RG next. But a platinum 5930 is going to attract some collectors and others may be deterred by the $100k USD price tag.

Remind us in six months that you said this, but only if you're right.
There is too much 5960 and 5905 baggage laying around at the $80K and under range for this to be at $200K 6 months after it hits the stores. The only 5960 that has any buoyancy is the black dial 5960/1a which had a limited production.

Also don't forget: 5960p-016 (black dial) that had limited run as well, 1 year.

Why are they so freakin afraid to be daring? They have waiting lists galore...how about trying something avante guarde or just different...I'm sure other brands are throwing a party today at their lack of competitive spirit.

You have massive demand, why not crush your competitors once and for all with something amazing?? Instead you embolden your competitors who one day like it or not will sneak up on you in a way you won't like

I love the 5905. Not my favorite bracelet design per se, but I think the thickness of the bracelet will feel really well balanced with the 5905 case.

Does anyone know why the new 5204r comes with an embossed calfskin strap rather than genuine alligator?!

Probably because of import laws with certain animal hides.

Nice. Lol.

I do wonder if the green will be a similar shade to the 5711 green which turned out much nicer than I would have expected.
