Thinking about an aerospace, any opinions?

I'm looking at buying an aerospace, never owned one before.
Will definitely be pre owned, I've found some 1992/95 models, with and without papers and also 2004 with new Breitling services as a real bonus, price range seems to be £1100 to £1700.
Any opinions on which model reference to go for?

I was real close to getting an Evo instead of the Avenger GMT I just picked up. Really close. They are great watches. Can’t go wrong with any model IMO.

I have a 1996 aerospace : splendid Light and efficient watch for travel & leasure

Tendancy to wear shirt with the bezel

Replaced the mouvement for the superquartz in 2015 : significant improvement on accuracy

The self extension bracelet is extremely practical

Aerospace is awesome, no question about it. Comfortable, love the clean lines with no buttons.

I have had more than a few of them over the years, but I always ended not keeping them. I don't think its the Aerospace's fault though.

I am a fan of the Aerospace, but I am a bigger fan for the Emergency, which I wear more often than my Aerospace (when I have them). The watch modules are too similar for me to own multiple of them.

Also, I prefer my Omega X-33 (gen 1 and gen 2). I fell in love the X-33 when I first saw them when I was kid. That's not going change, not even the Aerospace EVO. :p

I have recently bought an Evo. I find at the perfect daily watch. I have large wrists so I need the larger size of 43mm. The watch is incredibly light. I really notice the difference compared to my others. I would highly recommend one.

I own an Evo titanium and it wears super light and comfy. My only hate is the battery life which , if displays are lit, can be around 12 months only. I try to keep my displays turned off but its very easy to activate them with a flick of the wrist and they will be on without you knowing. Ive just replaced the battery for the second time in 20 months. It was already on its way out when i purchased the watch. Its a proper PITA to set the dial and displays to sync but if you follow the right Youtube tutorial, it will take about 20 minutes to set up.

I bought a pre-owned Aerospace, vintage 2005, a while back and it's a great watch; could easily serve as your everyday watch. Only drawback for me is trying to change any of the settings- it can be a bit cumbersome. Breitling used to have the manuals for all their models on-line, but I can't find that any more. Luckily mine came with the complete kit, including the Bakelite box, warranty card, chronometer certificate and thankfully, the manual.
