I’m not a fan of diamonds on a dial, except for that watch. Stunning piece!

I had the regular one and moved to the diamond baguette and am very much happy with the decision.

I like the diamonds, it blends better with that ice blue dial.

I also like the fact that there seems to be less of the diamond version out there, makes it more unique to me.

OH and the subtle diamond in the sunlight is really cool to see ;)

I'm not a fan of the Pt Daytona colour scheme but that baguette dial is very impressive.

I am not a diamonds person but gotta say the Platona with baguette diamonds is gorgeous! I like the fact the subdials are same colour as dial and not brown.

Absolutely diamonds. Ice blue dial, sub dial colors، diamond version is just better in this case.

When I got mine I chose the brown sub dials as that was what was available. No wrong choice. Get whichever you have access to.

Interesting. Strong showing for the diamonds. Are they equally hard to get?

That watch is stunning. IMO, THE top model of Rolex.

Diamonds are really subtle and look great. IMO, the baguette version is more formal looking and is perhaps a bit much for an everyday watch. But it dresses up better than the 'regular" version. I like the regular version sub-dials as the contrast is more "traditional Daytona" looking to me.

IMO, both need to be seen in person. The baguettes are VERY subtle, and the brown sub-dials look almost black if you are not in direct sunlight. So if either of those things are turnoffs for you, it's best to see them in person before drawing a firm conclusion.

I'm with the 'no diamonds' crowd if I have the choice. I like the lumed markers and brown subdials.

I’ve never liked diamonds on my watches, but tried the platinum Diamond dial in a few months back and it was amazing in person.

I don't mind the diamonds at all, but I do find the brown subdials help with legibility by adding some contrast.

I have to agree.
For me, it’s that unbroken blueness of the dial punctuated by discrete baguette and square cut diamonds in svelte proportions.

I like my Platona but the brown rings surrounding the subdials aren’t the best.

don't mind the diamonds at all, but do like the contrast of the subdial on the non-diamond version so I'd go for that myself

Can’t get enough of those chestnut subdials. Perfect colour combo and nothing else like it.

If I wanted all ice blue with baguettes, I’d go for DayDate.
