Question about removing a permanent link.
Hi guys. I have searched a lot but no infos on what I need. I wear the Sub-C with 4 links at 6 o'clock and it fits like a glove. But I really want a 5 digit Sub, and if I remove a permanent link it seems I'll have to wear it with just 3 links at 6 o'clock + 1 half link attached to the clasp, and I'm worried that it will be too short on that side. Does anyone here have a picture of a 5 digit Sub with a permanent link removed at the 6 o'clock side? Does it fit well and the clasp is centered? When I search on minus4plus6 there's only pics of the GMT and the Sub (14060) but no 16610 so I can't see if the transition on the bottom links would be fine. The GMT with 4 links at 6 o'clock seems great, but the Sub (nd) not that much with visible gap... Any pics or inputs on the 16610? Thanks.

the older Subs do not go down to 4 links, they go down to 5, and so, you must remove a permanent link to get where you are at with your Sub c.

My AD told me the last (half) link attached to the clasp can not be removed and it would have to be 3 full + 1 half, but I found an old post where our fellow Speed said his AD was able to remove that last link (half) and he has now only 4 full links at 6 o'clock on his Sub. My problem is that I don't want to take my chances and before buying (if I buy) I need to be 100% sure on what to do Thanks for your input, Larry.

somebody doesn't know what they are talking about or we have a communication hiccup... The half link on the 93250 bracelet is part of the clasp, not the bracelet, and is not removable unless you grind out the rivet. Each bracelet half consists of the endlink and 5 permanent links, not 4 permanent links like your Sub C bracelet. You would have to take out 2 permanent links to do what you are saying (reaching 3 links + the 1/2 link). The 93250 does not have the same taper as the Sub C bracelet because it consists of 5 links to reach 16mm instead of 4 links to reach 16mm, and so taking out 2 links will give you a very noticeable step.
