You have more than 3, you have all time zones. The only issue (as with any GMT bezel watch) is with the 10 countries are so that are non-standard. India for instance, is on the 1/2 hour.

The instruction booklet is not the best at describing how to use the watch. If you want a primer on how to use it just shoot me a PM, I'd be glad to help.

You picked a real good one. Again, you are not limited to 3 time zones. The rotating bezel allows you to find the time almost anywhere in the world in any time zone.

Just PM me if you have any questions so we don't hijack this thread. Just click my name above my picture and hit "send a private message"...

So this means that from the time when the LV was introduced to the time the 116610 came along, the LV was produced parallel to the 16610? Interesting, thanks!

I don't think it's a fad. Maybe it's the "noir" thing but this seems a great watch for a young person to go out into the night searching for adventure. For a dinosaur like me I don't know whether it "suits a suit" in daylight. For that reason, I think it is a beautiful watch but not for all occasions.

Even if ceramic pepsi comes out I'm staying with my BLNR, goes with everything, I have no use for blue/red combo.

I tried one on last week at my AD located at a local Mall, ( I LOVE IT !!!! ) wife and I went shopping afterwards and I told her I really like the watch and she said said OK! then we stopped for a/few drinks and some food. As we continued shopping I was texting my AD asking for a discount (actually just texting him to keep me from sleeping while my wife was trying clothes on at a ??White house black market store??) He said NO WAY they cannot discount it at all!!!! Then as we were leaving I walked in to buy it and my wife said NO WAY!!!! So NOW that she said NO I want it more??????? Why is it when my wife tells me NO I want it more???? I am so jealous of all of you that already have one, I am thinking I might sell a watch in my little collection to get this BLNR!!!!! Anyone get a discount on this watch yet????

Don't sell a watch, trade the wife in instead.

Very hard to get a discount on the BLNR at this stage. Well, at least from an authorized dealer. I was able to get a very small discount for mine but that was only after harassing the sales manager for a bit!

dP
Great piece, one I'd purchase in a second, but DP has it right. If they came out with a Pepsi or Coke bezel (which isn't happening), people would forget about the BLNR quickly.

The bezel is pretty amazing, from what I have read about the
bezel it's made from a single piece and yet Rolex has managed to incorporate a second color. I wonder if they have figured out how to make other colors like red.

Isn’t a fad IMO. If you are not a fan of green than it is safe to say you will dig blue. Really don’t see the need for any additions to the lineup. I still remember when no one wanted the Pepsi. Seems like people just want what they can have nowadays. This is only my option however.

I don't think it is a fad at all. I do wonder however, whether last year the number of purchases we saw was solely down to availability of a new piece, or whether a ton of people were holding out for that Pepsi. Now that the pepsi is only in WG they have decided to go with the BLNR...
This year there seems to be so many more people buying the BLNR. Every day there seems to be multiple incomings of this piece. It is very popular right now.
