You prove that sometimes a very well done and well chosen 4 piece collection can be really great and all that you really need, ok we have to face it we're watch addicts so you always need a little more, I just ordered my Hulk today and am already thinking about the new one, and you know what? I am hesitating between a Nautilus and a Royal Oak Which one would you suggest between the 2?
Between the two...5711 hands down. Trust me

The BLNR is great, I really love it, though I don't like the normal GMT II, this one I really adore, since I have it it's tough to not wear it and wear another one, I think tomorrow will put it in the bank so like this the 2 or 3 that will be at home will get some wrist time, which is not really the case now, even if today I'm wearing my Pam 233, the BLNR is in sight and it's hard not putting it instead of the Pam, really a great watch

I trust you Chris, after all you have both

I sent an sms to my grey dealer about the Patek, he told me to forget, that the waiting time on them is 2 years…

Here's an article there they compare the Nautilius vs Royal Oak, they say in the article that both are scratch magnets, do you confirm?

Lol its mostly the bracelets for me that's scratch magnet

My ap ROC does have bezel scratches on the flat surface but not the polished side

But my 5172 has scratches on the polished side edge of the bezel but not the brushed top surface

Both are the same age and similar amount of wrist time

As for the wait, if ure really interested I have one with my name on it. The white dial , possibly next week but I think I'm passing up on it

I'm really stuck on that BLNR lol

Its weird
But yes they do love getting scuffs on them

While the 5711, particularly in blue, is hard to find they are definitely out there. Besides, half the fun is in the hunt and both are definitely scratch magnets but I have learned to embrace those as they come. Mine are for the most part still relatively pristine.

Thanks Kyu, but the one with your name on it is in the States, so that means adding around 20% import tax if I'm not mistaken...

Nope, just Rolex. While I admire folks with AP's, Patek's, Omegas, and Pams, they just don't sing to me.

I have 3 Rolex and soon there will be the sub LV C, and apart my Daytona 116515 they are "daily wearers" my Pams are more for collecting rare models, even though I put them from time to time they are mostly in the safe, 2 are limited editions, one of 1000 pieces, the other of 300, and one is the 233 "dot dial" which was only produced into 3500 pieces, they switched to the AM-PM dial which is nice but not so as the dot, which is the most sought after by paneristi, so since I got them at a very good price and brand new I'm not hoping to flip and make a profit but am happy to have a few rare or very rare pieces, especially that Panerai from everything I see is the brand after Rolex which has such "cult" like followers
