Ceramic Coke Bezel?

A Rolex Coke in ceramic and STAINLESS STEEL for those poor unfortunate souls that can't sell enough shoes to buy a WG Pepsi.

I have my fingers crossed.

I expect the Coke, if it comes, to come in platinum. With a Pt Daytona and now a WG GMT it seems only a matter of time that the GMT and Sub will get this metal. Maybe with a white dial for good measure just to further distinguish it. Just don't see Rolex stepping on it's already popular BLNR at this point in time with another bi-color bezel in SS.

If the BLNR had been a complete flop it would have been more of a possibility. But it's not.

new model has significant upgrades in the bracelet and clasp alone that makes it worth it.

I agree the upgrades on the ceramic make it worth having, but the discussion is about having bezel choices in SS.

I've been waiting for this one for awhile now....but Rolex will probably do it in platinum and/or might put a white dial. If they do bring it in SS, then I hope they also bring it with a jubilee bracelet.

I can see platinum happening
GMT is among one of the most popular Rolex
Seeing they've had yg And WG out forever and now with a GMT WG without the gems I don't see why not a pt

I agree with Dan. I have no complaints at all about the new clasp and bracelet, but there's nothing at all wrong with the old style.

Remember, Rolex moves at a pace that many feel is too slow. But, they've been doing this for a long time and I think they know a thing or three. My take on things...they had the process and patents for red/blue two-tone ceramic, but they could not tool up fast enough, so they went the white gold route, so they could make a splash and get the most out of the bezels they could produce, plus not canabalize BLNR sales. Therefore, I predict that the coke bezel will come out, on SS, in 5 years. They will have scaled the technology, they will have cemented the BLNR as its own thing, and they will be ready to sell a LOT of new GMTs.

Oh...there will also be 5 new patents, including one claiming that only Rolex can use a round dial for telling time.
