I know there are plenty of fakes of these nowadays - This looks right to me, but some (ok, fine, … lots) of y’all know more than I do!

Looking through old paper auction catalogs, I’ve about decided that I can’t tell anything from the color gradation itself - Among the genuine ones, I’ve seen every variation from almost all black to almost none.

Any thoughts on this 18239 dial?
