Have I just been “grailed”?
My first ultra high end dress piece. Wont bore you too much with the thought process behind it but was considering several pieces including 1815 chrono, L1 MP amongst others. But once I tried this on,I knew it was the one, especially in this configuration with RG, silver dial and breguet markers. And soft secondary market for these benefits the buyer for once!

Wow this is stunning! I've always had a soft spot for rose gold watches (since a 1815R I had in the past). This material brings a lot to a dressy outfit especially. These elegant 5170 chronographs are fantastic undervalued models. Great picture.
I think our tastes evolve certainly in this kind of hobby but you certainly came across what could correspond to a grail indeed. Wear it in the best of health! |

Wow, that's really beautiful! Personally, I don't usually love arabic numbers on a chrono because I feel the dial is busy and full enough without it. But in this case, having only two sub-dials, this looks really perfect and doesn't crowd the dial.
