Oh how the cookie crumbles - new arrival

Ever since that photo (http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3287/...823ee27b67.jpg) got some rave reviews on the watch boards, I had long since sold my Submariner to fund my BMW (oh what a sweet car).
Well then, as it turns out my love for Rolex hadn't been washed out even after a self-induced multi-watch detox. I still hankered after one, so I reluctantly pulled the plug on a 2002 Rolex Explorer couple of months ago. Marvelously simple watch and a nigh on perfect fit for me. Yet it was still the Submariner that screamed at me. Its like that secret fetish you dont tell anyone about, its so wrong but its feels just so right and needless to say - satisfying! (I dont have any such fetishes, thankyou ). By chance and fate on this very forum a super nice fella offers a trade. My Exp for his Sub. I jump at the chance and low behold after almost 24 hours, I give you: The Rolex Submariner 14060.

With the Eastern delight: this will be a jealous watch house.

and finally, in all its charismatic solitude:

Congrats on the return of the Sub to your wrist!
I see a Marathon SAR in that stack too.

Awesome...

I want a No Date to keep my Series Y Sub date company... However, I may go old skool and get a 5513... Not until after the holidays and my meager bonus in March - if I get one this year!!!

Nice pics; I have to say that the no-date Sub has always "called" to me a little bit.

Glad you got to finally scratch that itch. I like your rationale. Good luck and great photos by the way.
