3130 - question on adjusting time...

can i confirm with sub/explorer/airking owners (3130) that...

to move the time forward, rotate the crown (clock-wise) upwards?

when the crown gets pushed back, the second hand should start moving again?

having some trouble adjusting my friend's AK.

Yes, that is correct...If it has the 3130..

The early Air KIngs (before 1989) are fitted with the cal 3000, which. along with the 3035, are two movements that are set "backwards" from the traditional clockwise/clockwise Rolex setting......

But it shouldn't give you any trouble... and none of them ALWAYS start right up when the crown is pushed in so make sure it is fully wound..

thanks for the swift reply!

it's a 3130 airking from year 2002.

after adjusting the time and pushing the crown back (before screwing it in), the second hand doesn't resume operation...

i had to toggle the crown before the second hand would move again. i thought i might have broke it!

(it's not mine: the watch was fully wound and regularly worn - i took it to set the correct local time)

There are a few parts and bits that need to move around for the "hack" feature to work properly.. Likely, it is dry around these parts... If it is an issue for the owner, a clean and oil is in order........
