Which Daytona

I’m considering buying a Daytona in precious metal. Prefer personally the bracelet vs oysterflex and considering a few options

Which of the following would you pick if you had a choice and why?

Blue and WG. I like how white gold is more under the radar and I like blue. Buy what YOU like

The 116509 is in my opinion the easiest to read out of the three. Plus that bright blue dial my god! I’m starting to shake over here… ;)

is this your first or only PM? if it is then i think it should be colored. rose vs yellow is preference but with that said i prefer yellow when it comes to rolex, and that exact configuration in yellow gold is what i would get if i wanted a PM daytona

The YG. Love the contrast of the champagne subdials against the black dial.

This is very divided. good luck OP!!

At a push if I had to order them

WG Blue
RG Choc (although incredibly close)
YG Matte Black

If its your first PM piece then you might want to go for RG or YG first.

WG is probably the most practical, because its easy to dress up or down, but damn, the RG is gorgeous.

One suggestion tho...

Before you make a decision, I would DEFINITELY look at all of thee in the flesh - if you can. I have found that so many of these, especially the Daytona, look and feel much different in person from how you might imagine just seeing them in photographs.

Definitely the WG blue. It doesn't photograph well. But in person, the blue and gold hue are spot on.

Plus if you have never seen a daytona and you only wear subs / dive watches it is small!!

The WG with the Blue dial is stunning. I like YG but think the WG wins out.

I prefer yellow gold. The all rose gold is just too over the top for me. I'm not a stainless watch lover.
