I love both watches but I also totally agree with you.

Even though I prefer the GMT movement and complication, I would pick this Daytona over the BLRO mostly due to its perfect size and fit to my wrist.

Many modern Rolex sport watches are still just a bit too chunky for my taste.

Not a fan of any of the modern day Daytona, and not a huge fan of any ceramic bezel Rolex,if I had to choose it would be the GMT.

I sold my white dial 116500 last month to fund a Pepsi, etc. I pick the Pepsi.

I have both in my collection and tbh, they are different beasts.

The pepsi is a larger watch and the Daytona more refined.

The Daytona can be sporty/casual as well as slide nicely under a cuff. Not so much with the Pepsi, the bezel is just too colorful.

Either one are nice watches, you have to make the choice yourself and don't get swayed by us on forums

Own both and they are both special. If only one then the Daytona as black can be used with any dress or occasion. The red and blue bezel is limited to certain situations but is a stellar watch on jubilee. Tough one. The date is a feature that can get you to lean towards the Pepsi.

Have both. I find myself grabbing the 126710 most days. It’s just that good.

I would choose the Daytona. I think the Pepsi is way over valued. The price difference between a batgirl and a pepsi shouldn't be that wide. In my view the batgirl is only marginally less desirable / aesthetically pleasing than the pepsi.

You think the Pepsi is over valued versus a Daytona?

The premium for a white dial is 4-5k too.

Black Daytona.

Sold Pepsi due to non use. Always reached for the Daytona due to comfort and monochrome color.

You beat me to it. I got my BLRO in 2018 and my black 116500 11 months later. It would be really tough to get rid of either now.

Have BLRO and a few Daytona’s. Both wonderful. Daytona gets more wrist time.

Have both. Daytona feels a little more special... so the pepsi gets more weekday wrist time and the daytona gets more weekends/special events wrist time.

Black Daytona, as it can be more easily worn up or down IMO. The newer pepsis are a bit...boisterous.

Black daytona 116500 vs pepsi 126710 blro

I have both

With no emotional attachment I’d choose Daytona over Pepsi

However, my Pepsi has great significance to me as a result of life event so I’d choose Pepsi in that situation
