Congrats! Does that pen have a metal core or is it resin?

Very nice pen and a great choice for everyday use.
Check out the roller ball refills for MB ball points made by Monteverde.

I like it, and the packaging is cool too.

I really like the 'broad' refills, they provide a smoother flow for me at least.

I'm afraid I am not a big fan of the Mountverde....they didn't really feel like the ink was flowing properly.

I'm not familiar with your pen so I don't know. I can tell the difference by weight. Is the pen weighted like a meisterstuck or a starwalker?

For most MB ballpens, the twisting mechanism is brass and the barrel is usually resin, unless we're talking about metal pens and some other LE that has a metal barrel.
This means their ballpens are usually top heavy.
This is a nice pen with a nice flat top and a smooth clip.
