Fake clasp?

Hello all, so I bought a clasp for my sea dweller on ebay and noticed that the numbers next to "Steelinox" are slightly crooked. Does this mean it's a fake? Should I return it? I would post pics but since I am a new user the forum is not letting me post links

Thank you!!!

You can quote the 12 digit eBay item number.

How much was it? Did they have more than one? Any colour options? (;))

How much did you pay? If it was not hundreds of dollars, I would say it is not authentic

If seller is accepting returns, just return it and do not deal with it.

Go back to eBay, buy a camera then post a pic of your clasp. Thanks.

Anybody can post/attach images, all they need is to meet the size requirement for the file type you want to attach.

As to slightly crooked numbers, that is pretty meaningless as a clue. Rolex numbers are not always aligned and pristine. That said, ebay is usually the last place I look for Rolex parts.

Good deals can be found on eBay but you really have to do your due diligence and know exactly what to look for.

Yep, eBay is the wild west for Rolex watch parts.
