There is something that does not look right about this watch or am I getting paranoid in my old age.......

I know what you mean.
The writing and numbers don't look right anf the batons at the 6 & 9 O'clock positions don't look like any dial that I have seen before,mind you I don't know what the dials were like back in the 60's
When did the 1st DD come out?

....may be questionable. However, look at all the pic's. The watch is obviously genuine, and MAYBE the dial is a re-dial. There are plenty of 1803 dials available. Sincerely, Stan.
