1980 Rolex GMT-Master ref. 16753 Root Beer “Blood Orange Dial”

Up for grabs is a Rolex GMT-Master

Reference 16753 in steel and gold, acrylic crystal, quickset date function.

6.5 mil serial number circa 1980 with period correct “nipple dial”

Very good vintage condition case has been polished and numbers are fully legible.

The dial is original, and has aged to a very interesting and vivid “blood orange” color with patina on plots. No chips or scratches. The hands have been replaced during past service with luminova and still briefly glow after exposure to intense light. The date disk is original, with open 6’s and 9’s.

Nice root beer bezel insert with vibrant colors. No scratches or corrosion.

The bracelet is an original and correct GMT Rolex Jubilee with “50” stamped last links, 450 ends, F date code, and very moderate stretch for its age.

No box or papers.
