5711. It is classic, simple and the most aesthetically pleasing of the Nautilus line.

I want to say 5740, but I'm not sure I could read the dial. I know, who actually reads it. :-) I picked the 5726. I had the white dial and really miss it. I did have a little trouble reading the day and month.

5712a and 5740g is so close.....I couldn't decide between those (that's why hopefully someday to have both)......5711a would come next and the 57261a is my last choice.....sorry but the aperatures on a Nautilus is not for me.

5051, 5085, 5055 and 5054 also had the same power reserve, moon phase, sub seconds hand and a micro-rotor before the lay out being moved the the Nautilus case of 3712

Wow.......

didn't realize the blues differed to that extent. I hope this thread gets pinned for easy future reference.

I would say:
5726>5940>5712>5711

Yeah, very even in the end, shows the Nautilus design is the real winner.

Overall I don't like the Nautilus, even not Patek. But if I had to choose one, I would go for the most plain one.

The 5712 is not exactly unique but also just a dial layout and movement moved over to the Nautilus line from earlier non-Nautilus references, no different than the 5740... However, the dial layout of the 5712 works perfectly in the Nautilus case while it hasn't worked that well in the earlier round references in my view.

5726>5712>5711>5740. Owning a 5712G, gold and gold bezel are way bigger scratch magnets than the steel. I like the slightly thicker case and bracelet of 5726.
