Are you bored with the Hulk and Batman and searching for something new? Or are you intrigued because you can benefit from of the current hyped value of your collection for a piece that might otherwise be out of consideration?
It probably comes down to how much you still love those two watches...sometimes people get bored and want to try something new. Happens with cars all the time, and no matter what the monetary value is of it, if the enjoyment is lacking, then it might be time to try something else. But if you still deeply love wearing those watches and know you'll miss them even with the new PP, then I'd say stick with what you've already worked hard to achieve. |

I wouldn't. Not a fan of the busy dial and so many hands in a steel PP Calatraca

Since that Patek has comic book fonts and you seem to like superheros go for it.

Not a chance. Most Patek’s are boring. Hulk and Batman got soul and style.
Enjoy B

Love the new Patek but no way for that to be a fair trade. Will keep both watches

Perhaps you misunderstood, basically I would not do that trade. Modern Pateks seem not to be reliable, needs more service, service times are ridiculous, and they are not the quality watch they used to be.
So from experience, do not do the trade.

You may be selling 2 difficult to replace appreciating watches to fund one impossible to obtain watch. So no, unless you really want the 5212 AND you have an ironclad commitment that your AD will deliver you one in a reasonable time.

If you really want the Calatrava go for it. But please please please don't fund it from the sale of those two.
