For the guys who still don't get it

Rolex Milgauss 40MM Black Dial Automatic SS Mens Watch

The seller has zero transactions.

The seller registered 8 days before posting this auction.

The seller wants US$1,000 buy it now for a Rolex Milgauss, no model number provided.

Questions:

1) Is the watch in the photo a replica?
2) Where did the photo come from?
3) Why would anyone believe this seller actually owns the watch in the auction?

Answers:

No, who knows / who cares, and there's no logical reason to believe this seller has a Rolex to sell.

This is the prototypical scam perpetrated by someone who is trying to snare an unsuspecting buyer looking for the bargain of a lifetime.

Yeah, it's possible someone actually bought the thing, but it's also possible someone 'bought' with no intention of paying, just to get the auction deactivated.

I have a note in to eBay to bring the Sub auction (and a new Cellini auction from the same seller) to their attention.

The heinous Rolex 16613 with the rear observation port from a couple of days ago appeared to be report-proof, so yesterday I did the same thing by messaging them directly.

It's weird. Some of the most obvious scams and fakes seem to be resistant to reports, and it's not always based on the seller's feed-back.
