Give it a year. It will depreciate into your price range.

How do you figure that? Look at the P1 or 675lt for example.....
A regular McLaren may depreciate but not that one.

Since we cannot retire on 1M anymore, I like the thought of spending it on a car!

Invest 100k in bitcoins today. Sometime within the next year, the appreciation of the bitcoins and depreciation of the McLaren will meet. Cash out the coins and you will have purchased a 1MM car for only 100k.

You can thank me later.

I don’t think these will be wildly depreciating. I think it’s sick.

Personally I'd have no interest in this particular McLaren unless I was going to actively to track the car. Street use... no way: much better options starting with McLaren's own 720S for a whole lot less coin.

Very cool car! I just wish it had a V12 though, but everything now seems to have a lower displacement and turbo's. I'm sure some car collectors will go nuts for this.

a good friend was fortunate enough to be on the list, he already has an offer of 400k over.....crazy, I will give it to Mclaren , I owned a 570 for about 3 months , it was actually extremely friendly as a DD and maintenance was a lot "lighter" than Ferrari or even Porsche I owned in the past..... beautiful

not for me,

best ever car is an air cooled 911, a true sports car, small, quirky and brilliant,

these sports cars today are huge, more like gt's this includes a modern 911.

you can still get decent air-cooled for between 30 and 40k, and a big range of choice. Porsche still make most of the parts.

You should drive a Miata with a supercharged LSX... I get your point bc those Porsche’s are fun. But honestly the most fun I’ve ever had driving anything was a true racing go cart and I don’t think you can actually get closer to the feel of true racing. It was even better than when I got to drive a Formula 3000. The go cart is just you and the car. Your ability only. I’ve never felt so in control of anything ever not to mention 80 mph with ur butt 1.5” off the ground takes some serious guts. Even drivers like Senna, Hamilton, Verstappen, vettel, Bottas and Alonso have stated that cart racing is the truest form of racing and really will show who is a true racing driver.
