Which Groups/Fraternal Orgs/Associations do you belong to?

Hi All,

Besides all of us being card carrying members of the "Global Watch Crazies" organization (LOL) I thought it would be neat to find out what other groups people might be involved in and I'm not talking webforums..

I've been a member of the Freemasons for over a decade and after just completing some genealogical research on my family I learned that I'm eligible for membership into the Sons of the American Revolution.

In my small city in Upstate NY there are a lot of cultural groups people can join and be active in, religious groups, fraternal, etc.

If you're comfortable sharing, I'd love to hear about it.

Thanks!

JP

My paternal grandmother was a Daughter of the Revolution. Apparently, that’s not an easy thing to prove.

Personally, I wouldn’t belong to any organization that would have someone like me as a member.

Used to be a member of the AICPA and the Texas State Society of CPA's if those count. Since I left big 4 accounting and I don't get my membership paid for anymore, I'm no longer a member of either.

Sure they do. Professional organizations play a big role in industry and in our personal lives.

Could try to get into the Mayflower Society, direct desendent of John Alden. Don't feel like going through the hassle. The family tree in my great grandmother's writing is good enough for me.
