Rolex sport standard SS model might be available more in 2020!
The story start from. I was almost buy new 2019 black Submariner from a local guy for $10,200. He mentioned to me that reason he bought it to support his AD in order to get him the Green Sub ( HULK). After hearing it from him, I figured out that now Black Sub considering piece to support AD. Then I travelled to an AD that he mentioned, and ask them if they can find me Black Sub, they said its not going to be this year but Black Sub is not hard to find. So they wrote my name down. We’ll see what turns out. Hopefully, the situation on SS get better. At least, for some simple dial ones so people That really want to buy one for themself can get their hands on it.

Just FYI-Ive put in a down payment (50 percent) in one of our local ad here in Orange County for a submariner and I’m still waiting and it’s been 3 months. I’ve been offered so many ss but not a sub. Hope you get yours soon.

Should buy that Sub for the 10K. If the Sub changes next year they will be impossible to find. Seems like we see more incomings of the white Daytona C than Subs lately. I waited 8 months for mine with a purchase history.

I think you'll be waiting awhile from that AD. There are probably many names written down before yours and Submariners seem to get pretty hot again just before Christmas. I see Chase from Nassville Watch has a new one for a little over 9k today. Also check TRF for 2019 mint at 8500.

I've been stalking a black sub with date since August all over the East coast with no luck. I might have to disagree with your AD on this. ADs have been saying 'it'll get better in the next 6 months' for the last 1 year :lol

I actually heard the similar stories from my local ADs. It's from the general manager and they said supplies will be better in January and February...

I wouldn't have thought that a guy owning a Daytona, GMT Batman and Patek Aquanaut would have much trouble acquiring a humble Sub

By chance, did you mention to that AD that you were thinking of buying a Sub second hand? If so, he is feeding you a load of false hopes ($h!t) to keep you from buying from someone else ... he wants you to spend your $10k with him. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Unless demand changes and Rolex increases or changes their production schedule the chances of getting SS professional models isn’t going to get any easier IMHO.

Fun part about collecting watches is when you hunting down one you aiming for. And I don't think that has to do anything with my collection. ;)

They visit AD’s all over the southeast and it is getting better. This week I saw two guys get Daytonas, I’ve seen several deep sea James Camerons, several deep sea 43’s, TT blue subs lots of DJ 41’s, YMII’s and tons of PM. The BLNR, Pepsi and subs for the most part don’t make it to the case as you know because they still have long lists. Next year will be easier to get stainless steel models.
