how about you guys?
Not just my Rolex, but my full rotation of Pateks and AP. Most co-workers have their Shinola and Tags. No watch enthusiasts ... they probably don't even recognize what's on my wrist and couldn't care less ...

if anything your boss will probably respect you more, seeing your watch game improve. That is if you are good at what you do!

Don’t buy the watch if you’re not going to wear it.

For the first 6 years that I had my Date-Just I wore it daily. The wife then gave me a Seamaster Pro and I started wearing more as a daily watch but I would alternate each of my 4 automatic watches every week. Now I have a vintage Sub and retired but I only wear a watch 3 days a week.

Rolex to work

Of course. I bought it to wear whenever I want. It's in a rotation of 3-4 watches. What good is the watch if you can't enjoy it.

Yea although try to avoid wearing yellow gold to meetings.

Bit garish

Will go in white gold instead. Nobody cares or notices.

Not wearing your watch is like not kissing your GF so that she remain more desirable for her next BF.

I wear a DJ almost daily with a suit. Life is too short to worry about this stuff. Your colleagues likely don't even notice what you have in your wrist.

Honestly, I don't wear a Rolex to work as I find it too sporty/casual. I usually opt for an AP, Lange or PP as I find them more appropriate for what I typically wear to work. All depends I guess on where you work, what you might be wearing, your mood, etc., etc.

I work for myself so I guess yeah I do wear a Rolex whenever I wear one. I don't really go through rotations as more fads, like I'll put one of my watches on a different strap and wear that for a few weeks, then I'll try something else with another watch and wear that for a while.

If I need to go stealth I'll wear something low key like a titanium watch or smaller classic watch. If I need to show off to close a deal I'll go white gold or polished stainless steal. If I'm on a night out with clients then yellow gold and diamonds comes out to play.

If I need to seal a deal at the car dealership then the jubilee bracelet comes out to tell the DSSD wearing dealer I'm worth the time and day.

These are the extrinsic reasons why I buy luxury watches, nothing to do with resale value as I tend to buy to keep.

The intrinsic reasons are that I'm an idiot that places to much emotional attachment to material objects rather then just settling down and find inner comfort and peace from within.

Full Gold watches can be hard to wear to work, unless you can fit it under your sleeve. I wear my steel models with no worries....

Wear it every single day to work. Really no big deal whatsoever. And people who judge what is on your wrist should really take a step back and reevaluate themselves.

Worn mine every day since I got it. Ok, almost every day. Took it off for a range day. Otherwise, I’m loving this sub.
