Sure, I'll play!

Here's my Air King. It's currently on a brown Hirsch, I just like that look a little better than the bracelet.

Adrian - that's very nice! I've been wondering how the new AK - and especially the one with the engine-turned bezel - would look on a leather strap (thinking it could be a suitable combo). Gives it a kind of vintage look, right?

Mine looks like Scott's. Don't have any paperwork as it was a gift from a Lodge Brother.

Very nice fellas! We need to make a signature banner like those Sub-marin-er and GMT boys have.

Too long has the AK lurked in the shadows! The light will now show the way!

Haha anyway, great pics, keep 'em coming

Thanks, Anders!

Yeah, I'm enjoying the different look and I like the flexibility that the dial offers as I think it would look ok in black too. The one thing is that there seem to be a lot more options for 18mm or 20mm but not many for 19 mm. Oh well! The 20mm is a little snug on the spring bar but it works.

I have to agree. I've been looking at 1675s again lately and I still just can't do it. The AK is what I'd grab in the morning anyway

Air King next to a vintage Hamilton and Alsta

Here’s my Air King along with my father’s 1950’s 17 Jewel Hamilton, and my Uncle’s early 1960’s Alsta automatic. The 34mm Air King looks big next to the other watches.

Here is one I had for a while. Got it when the new case/model was released.

I enjoyed it during the summer of 2007, and then it spent too much time in the safety deposit box until I sold it. Absolutely beautiful, but too short/thin hands IMHO. I tried it out with longer hands from the DJ model:

But, I still did find it sligthly too small. Even for my skinny wrists. It is just a fraction shorter lug to lug compared to my 36 mm models...

Best,

A
