Icon4 Rolex submariners with nato straps pics wanted

Hi everyone, i have pretty much decided that my next watch will be a no date sub ( they seem pretty hard to find but have found a couple) and i will probably put a NATO strap on it and try it out. It looks good and i would love to see some "real" pics. Thanks again everyone

Ok I remember looking for this same answer when I was trying to decide if I wanted to get a NATO so I will post up all the shots of Submariners with NATO that I have saved to my computer while searching these forums

First up is my Sub ND COSC with James Bond NATO

Here are more shots from these boards
*Disclaimer: These are NOT my shots!* But I still love em!

That should satisfy you for now

Sorry JJ, but some of us really like the NATO!

Awesome shots!!!

Quick question:
Does the 14060M take a 20mm Nato?

Thank you!

The nato straps would be very fine if one could just omit all the folds and moustraps they feature..Why not just a strap of the proper length with a nylon matching keeper or two? Does such a strap exist?

That is what I personally like about the NATO, is all the folds and whatnot, it makes it look very unique and sporty. It also gives a kind of double protection, should one of your pins ever break, you won't loose your watch!

You mean something like this

You can find it and other NATO straps here http://www.timefactors.com/nato.htm (I don't work for them, but was a very satisfied customer)

Ok I know from reading some earlier posts that JJ will freak , But I love the way these straps look on the Sub ... I have seen nato , bond and tropic straps and they really add some vintage style to a great watch .... thanks for sharing these pics ....

How long does it take to buckle and secure one of these nato straps?

Just wondering... :)

You're correct, they're not your shots; these last two are mine.

"Disclaimer" notwithstanding, I'd still appreciate it if you'd credit the original source for the images you Post: The last two are from my personal website.

Great choice Sub ND, but I have got to disagree with the NATO strap, this is just my opinion, £2500 watch, £10 strap, to me the saying "Top hat and tails" should be replaced with "Top hat and jeans"

Again it is just my opinion, and should not detract from your enjoyment of a stunning watch, congratulations on your excellent choice, wear it in the very best of health.
