Rolex DayDate 40mm- post photos here

Figured id start a picture thread for the new Rolex
DayDate 40mm, this way we can have all the photos in one thread which can in turn have certain dials grow on us, as I am interested in a rose gold model in the future but just uncertain of the dial.

Impatiently waiting for my dd40. Have it preordered just waiting for the call now. 40mm platinum dd with "ice-blue" cross check motif dial. Here is a pic I took at the AD upon preorder private showing. All of the dd40's are stunning. Look forward to this thread growing and seeing everyone's new pieces upon arrival! The dials are a bit underwhelming while everything else is A+

For those who tried on the DD40, do you feel a difference in the bracelet or no?

The bracelet to me still felt more comfortable than any other. I only tried my watch on for about 5 minutes in the AD. Maybe after a full day I would have a better idea of its true comfortability. I do believe the new ceramic inserts to the bezel are more for the long run uphold and preservation of the bracelet than the immediate feel of it. My 2cents. What did anyone else think?

There is a difference in weight, obviously, but in terms of comfort, it felt very similar to my DD. The construction of the bracelet feels even sturdier than the current President bracelet. Didn't think that would be possible.

Gosh I love rose gold Presi's. The dial however I am not happy about. Nothing beats the chocolate roman numeral dial from the DD2.

In total agreement about your comments on the Everose Gold. If I were ever to pick up an Everose Gold DD, it would have to have the chocolate roman dial of the DD II. I am hoping that the chocolate dial of the Everose Gold DD 40 is the same as the one on the DD II.

Tried on the DD40 Platinum today at an AD, that carries several high end Swiss watches. I have to say I like the size of the DD40.
