Your 3rd post in 7 years and you drop a bomb like this. Did you get the bezel fixed?

Platinum Sub with ice blue dial - similar to the Plat Daytona but on an Oysterflex band.

YG Day Date with the Olive dial from the 60th Anniv RG version.

...thank me later

First post here (been lurking heavily past week). I'm very fortunate to be able to pursue my new found hobby. I am limiting myself to 1 watch per month (daytona being the exception due to rarity).

Submariner no date
Submariner "Hulk"
GMT II "Batman"
Explorer II "Polar" Dial
SS Yacht-Master 40m Dark Rhodium
SS Ceramic Daytona

Only thing I'm worried about is getting some pieces and then "better/nicer" versions of those watches are announced at Baselworld. I tend to hold on to things... for some it is as simple as trading/selling the old watch to get a new, I kind of hoard :( I'm worried that if get both submariners now, then 3 months from now slightly different ones come out that I'd like better and then I'll have a few subs...

I feel the Hulk is safe to buy now as it would probably be discontinued rather than updated, where as the black sub no date is a piece that will always be around. If it gets some tweaks that I don't like I can pick up the current model, or if I like the tweaks I wait for the new. I also feel the GMT is safe to buy now and wouldn't be tweaked this year. I am hopeful that the Explorer II gets a slight size reduction as I tend to like 40-41mm. I saw it in person and it's not terribly bigger than other watches I have/want, but if they bring it down 1mm I'd love it even more.

My quess is that Air King face change, Deepblue discontinue and Ceramic ExpII will actually happen of these serious leaks brought to us directly from Rolex executives

- Deep Blue demand can be directed to black dial versions. It is not just the dial people are after with that one so no sales lost. But collector hype created which always converts to sales of ’future classics’ too.
- AirKing is slow seller, nobody has bought it except me
- ExpII is also quite slow seller, every AD has them usually in stock with both dial versions. Ceramic would make it more modern. And maybe it would be some help to people in line for Ceramic Daytona as well!

In addition i think there will be Platinum Submariner with ice blue dial as economics are up. And that will be first Platinum Rolex with serious waiting lists :)

Not to be a downer but I bet nothing new including the 3235 in subs. Nothing except a price hike across the board since there were no increases in the last 5 yrs. I'd like to see a pepsi in SS so I'd stop dreaming of the blro, hehe.

What could change on the AK face? Either way I love the current model enough to have bought it 2 days ago, incoming soon.

[QUOTE=Nairn1980;8003806]I think Rolex need to diversify for their female ranges.
My wife loves Rolex but found the traditional ladies ones just too small.

If they can do it for the YM I think a Sub @ 35-37 is doable. I'd buy a blue SS one in a heartbeat.

Maybe they give out 2-3 new colours?

That watch is the most underrated in whole Rolex line i would say. 100% Milgauss tech and 30% lower MSRP. Nice to hear about people who have also noticed it’s beauty.

I would love if they refined it a little. Really any increased focus on a land-based watch, like the North Flag or the Ranger, would be great.

More Oysterflex models - seeing as they’ve typically been released on PM models, my guess would be YG and WG Submariner to come on the Oysterflex.

About time ALL Rolex movements have rotors on bearings and not cheap XVIII century bushing. Also, PLEASE STOP making bigger cases. Thinner watches with convex crystals...!!!
