Prices / Production Year 116710BLNR Batman

I'm offered a 2013 (first year of production) 116710BLNR Batman in NIB condition as full set for € 13.75k (in Europe).

Since I'm following the vintage market way more closely I'm wondering:
- a) Is this a reasonable price in the current market environment for the watch?
- b) Is 2013 production any differentiation criteria for the Batman worth spending a bit more (I can find models from other production years for € 13.5k on Chrono24)?

if NIB = BNIB with all stickers intact etc go for it. if its just used watch (mby polished?) in great/good condition I'd not pay that much

Currently there is no reason to pay a premium for a GMT BLNR simply because it is a "2013 release"; only a very few models have seen a reason for this. There is even less reason to purchase a "first edition" watch at a premium if you intend to wear it.

Who is to say what the future will bring though. If you are speculating on a first-year being more valuable, you would want to put it in a safe place to actually realize that value.

I'd say it's a bit too much in current market for a 6-7 year old BLNR 13 13.5 seems about right.

Don't think the first year has any specific extra value. And you may have the possibility that a service is due sooner than you think.

I'm staggered at these prices I paid even a little bit under retail 2.5 years ago. Offer is high also on Chrono.

If I would want to pay that kind of money I'd go with a younger watch in same or better condition.

I wouldn’t pay that for a 2013.
On a BLNR the newer the better as you’ll get warranty on the newer ones.

+1

I paid retail for mine back in 2017. There’s no way I’d pay the grey prices for any of the gmts. Especially when they’ll be available for much less in 6 months then they are today

Too high.

Unless you are specifically looking for the first year edition for some reason.
