What do you guys think?

My body shop also thinks it's likely to be totaled. Apparently the damage to the frame and the way the bumper is pushed under, NJ might actually require it be totaled.

My dealership sent me this pic.

I kind of love it. However, it might be too much? I feel like it's kind of subtle. It is a pick up after all.

What do you guys think? Over the top, or just enough pop?

You are all over the place...hard to keep up. If you like it buy it. If you're really asking for honest opinions, then I don't like it.

Last I read was this:

so for now....i am carless (the 350 is just a weekender, not realistic for a DD for me and certainly not really able to drive it right now anyway). and i have no idea what i want to get. in fact, i really don't want to get anything. which is likely a first for me.

Over the top for me. That color scheme just doesn't work.

Last I read was this:
Give me a break dude.

Your quoting another thread for what purpose? Because it says I didn't know what direction I wanted to go in? What's your point?

It's been a messed up few days and I was just looking for some opinions, considering I'm car less and don't know what direction to go on.

And fwiw, what you quoted says I just couldn't pick up another 150, and that I didn't know what to do, as I have no desire for another brand. So asking a question seems somewhat relevant. Also quotes that I loved the 150 and was grateful for it.

Uh okay.... Well I guess my 'point' was YOUR words saying you didn't want another F150.

But hey maybe now you do--no worries. WOW.

Good luck in your choice.

Take care.

PS - I thought you had your Mustang so didn't know you were 'carless'. My mistake.

yes. Yesterday I said I could not bring myself to buy another 150, and the dealership sent me that pic to see if I was interested.

And I posted a picture of it asking opinions.

That seems very very crazy.

Your passive aggressive type response is

This one was too:

Oh yeah, the one where you condescendingly ask if I'm posting from the ER was good too.

Not sure where it's all coming from, but ok.

Thanks for the "good luck" wishes.

Ok, so just for fun because you edited to your comment, I'll respond. I'm surprised you did not see another comment, from the thread you went back to, to quote, considering you seem to stalk my comments.

But I specifically state that the 350 is not realistic as a DD for me. Oh yeah, it's also a manual and I just had back surgery, so probably not going to be the most comfortable option anyway.

Did I say for fun? Never mind, you appear to have sucked the fun out of this one.

Yeah man.

Me too. The dealership customizes them, themselves. I think they do a great job.

And I like it. A lot. But it's not for me, I think. It's a bit too much.

If I had a lot of garages, and it wasn't a daily, I'd Really like to have it. But it's just a little more than I can do for a daily. Looking for a bit more balance. Some pop, but more subtle. I really liked the one that's just been hit. A great balance of everything

If it was all black, or even all blue? That could sway me.

As it stands I'll rent a car tomorrow and go from there.

Wow, why are so many people getting their Alan's in a twist? Is it National Sense of Humour Failure Day or something?

Seth, if you have a D-Blue, then it's a great match but it ain't for me though. Get yourself well first, then think about a new set of wheels

Great advice Paul, from another guy with a back injury.

Safe travels on your holiday BTW. Give that back a good rest.

The new F150's really are sharp. A friend of mine just bought a red FX4 super cab and it's a great looking truck.

I agree with that. Red looks great.

Big fan.

As much as I like it, I have been an earth tone guy for just about ever.

And, I have been loving the upgrades that manufacturers and even dealerships have been adding.

I think a lot of my reluctance yesterday was that the limited I looked at felt boring. Super nice...but boring. Too much money for something that does not inspire you to look back after you have parked it. But the one that just got hit was also "boring" a little before I added to it.

I thought mine had a great balance , but sadly its sitting in the lot of my auto body shop. Great subtle additions in my opinion.

We will see. I am sure something will happen soon enough.

The color combo and wheels are a little too much for me, Seth. I didn't even know Ford offered colors like that!

All black would be my choice.

That's not a color scheme I would care for on a vehicle.

Graphite grey is a color that goes by different names depending on the manufacturer, but it's my favorite color to own these days.

Besides looking good and neutral, it hides dust and dirt pretty well until you can get to the car wash.

Seth, be careful! I think TexEx is stalking you a bit and quoting your prior threads is a little weird...." You said in a prior thread you didn't want another F150, blah, blah....." As far as this truck, I'm not a fan of that color combo.

I really like the way this looks. But agree that a solid color is the answer.

I think it looks good but I would always stay with an original or original optional colour scheme for a repaint for resale reasons.

Seth, they took a perfectly good F150 Platinum, and put cheap wheels and a super tacky paint job.

I loooove the new F150, I hate the one you posted though.

What do you guys think?

This is not the one I recently saw. However, if you want a scratch proof vehicle you could always linex it!

You know the stuff that is usually in the bed, except put it ALL OVER.
