I just took my 16710, 216750, and my 116660 without issues.

Bringing my TT to HAWAII
Do you wear your watch out of your home or only inside your house? In all seriousness I ask because I am not understanding how Hawaii would be more of a problem than where you live. Truly not trying to sound like a jerk here but what is truly the concern of wearing your watch exactly when combined with going there?

Was in Hawaii earlier this year. Felt safe but that could just be me being a wet behind the ears noobie

Oahu might be the "most dangerous" of the islands just due to population density & anti-military sentiment. There are not-so-great areas of Honolulu (and toward the W/SW side of the island) where there is crystal meth abuse. In Waikiki, though... no. Tons of tourists, tons of Honolulu PD, the occasional homeless person gets shoo'd away quickly. I've never had any issue. A sea turtle might be interested in a shiny thing under the water, but don't touch them!

I went to Oahu a few years back and it seemed pretty safe. However, I knew if I had brought my sub or daytona I would be paranoid all the time. So I just wore a GShock in the daytime and wore a Grand Seiko for fancy dinners.

We were never approached but walked quickly and never hung around but we kinda took the long way round to get back by avoiding side roads.. The one thing we did notice was there are wild chickens everywhere! |

Wearing it on Oahu is generally safe but don’t wear it to a surf lesson. Lots of jewelry n watches lost during surf lessons.

Do we have an update? Did the OP have fun in Hawaii and more importantly did he make it back with his watch?

I thought he was shipping his small Audi over instead of taking Da Bus?
