Incoming - 1st Dress Watch 5327G
I have always had sports watches and decided it is time to get a dress watch to add some diversity. Been reading up and speaking to various folks and narrowed it down to 5170R and 5327G.
Decided the PC functions were more useful than a chrono and that sunburst blue is just amazing. That saying the 5170R in black is very sexy as well, but the sunburst blue just had that slight edge. Anyways, the watch finally arrived today and it looks amazing. The watch wears a bit smaller than the Daytona. It takes a bit of getting used to since I have always been a sports model person. This is my first PC watch and I have to admit, setting the date, time, month, moon etc is a pain and still trying to figure out how to set it. |

I really like the 5327 reference lineup but wish it came in Platinum. The white gold blue dial is the best though so you'll enjoy it well

Looks amazing, enjoy it! I’m wearing the J model now, the PC complication is incredible and I find it very useful. Once you set it a few times you’ll get the hang of it, I actually enjoy it if/when the time comes (not often its pretty much my daily)

I love mine . I actually thought setting was fun - just follow directions. Don’t believe “ Real men don’t read directions” ha! Did you get the neat leather winder box ? I really like that too, I sure didn’t need another big wooden box to gather dust in my closet. Did the AP discount at all , if you don’t mind sharing . Mine helped a little but not a lot. Enjoy your beautiful new timepiece and congratulations. James in San Antonio.

Thanks and the watch looks great on you too..!
Yes, i did get the winder box as well. Honestly, it is a bit bulky, somewhat like a time capsule. Its a nice to have. I would think the current winder i am using suffices. As for discount, it was very little, almost non-existent...haha. However, i was fine with it as i have a long relationsihp with them spreading over many years and they have been getting me a lot of nice timepieces. So i am not complaining. Sure, it would be cheaper to purchase from grey but i always look at the long term. Honestly, i don't know how hard it is to get this as i heard the J/R is easier compared to the blue dial. Still trying to get used to the design and looking forward to putting some wrist time on this during the work week. Cheers. Quote:

I think it's a wonderful PC and certainly was on my short list for a very long time. Classy and thin. Just slides under a French cuff.
