It seems pretty legit to me...

In my area, our local AD can help us check whether watches are genuine if we are not sure. I'd try contacting ADs in your area to see if they can help. I heard once that RSC was able to help my friend authenticate as well.

Could have sworn I'd seen that on the Rolex site a couple of years ago, under "Configure"

I like the looks of it.

I did some more digging. I don't think the watch is genuine––the reason being the strap.

I don't believe the genuine watch should have the large "346763 BSTD" stamped on it, and a search for that model number yields nothing. Also, from what I've seen of Rolex leather straps, the printing should be lighter and of higher quality. I'd highly recommend you approach an AD or RSC to get this authenticated.

I cannot opine on the authenticity of that watch as I’m by no means an expert. As others have said, I would take it to an AD and have them authenticate it for you. However, I can attest to the fact that Rolex did make a day-date in that exact color and strap combination. I was in an AD in Los Angeles two fridays ago and they had that exact watch and one just like it but with a brown dial and brown leather strap. Was at the AD this past Friday and one of the two was gone, but I don’t recall if it was the brown or green.

Apologies for multiple posts. One last detail I forgot to mention: the watch in question seems to lack an engraved rehaut. As this watch was introduced around 2013 (I believe): https://www.ablogtowatch.com/rolex-d...ches-hands-on/ it should have one.

Thank you Richcao. It actually engraved the rehaut. Click the first picture and see.

Thank you too all. I appreciate it.The worst that can happen is it turns out fake and I get my money back.

Thanks again.

In the first picture on the 9 o’clock side it looks like it has the engraved rehaut, but it’s hard to tell because the lighting is poor.

First picture looks like it’s there. I think some better resolution pics are needed. That said, I agree that you are best to have the watch examined in light of the questions brought up.

You need pics of the hallmarks and a better pic of the dial be careful I would not buy if those are the only pics.

I don't like the mouth of the dial coronet, which reminds me of an American's face when we try to explain Morris dancing.

Nor do I like the day wheel.

Not for me, this one.

Serious doubts about this watch. I would definitely get some proper daylight pictures of the watch. There are some red flags including the crown on the dial, the tall rehaut and the font on the date/day.

My only addition to the convo is the worst that could happen: It turns out to be fake and you DON’T get a refund.

Fortunatley for me I have buyers protection. As soon as it was listed with a too good to be true price, which was about the going rate of an 1803 without president ban, I did my best to investigate before I bought it also knowing that if it turned out replica I would get my money back. My doubt leaned more on the strap than anything else, but I wasn't sure. Anyway you look at it, if it turns out to be a replica then it was misrepresented and I send it back and get refunded. This is not my first time down this road. Sometimes its the process you have to go thru sometimes to get lucky. I only had so much time to investigate as best as I could without someone else sneaking in and grabbing a great deal.
When it arrives I will make sure to take some detailed photos of it to share and let everyone weigh in with their opinions.
Telling ya like Dorothy, there is no place like TRF.
Great community here.
Love it.
Thanks.

I certainly hope you get a fair shake if it proves less than authentic. And much luck that it is all correct even down to the strap and buckle.

The thing I was mentioning was the worst case scenario and our files here are full of seller promises not kept.

Now that you’ve bought it, who was the seller?

I am by no means an expert, and maybe it's the pictures, but that doesn't look right at all.

I‘d say Fake. The case looks like plated and the strap looks like a low quality printed leather.

It may be the poor quality of pics, but I would not buy this watch based on what I see
