Adam
Now with PayPal as a separate entity, how does buyer protection work if the seller is a scammer and transfers the PP funds to his bank and cashes out before the buyer can file a claim?

Ebay guarantees buyer protection.
Indeed eBay is always on the side of buyer, even if they are incorrect!

From a big seller (and a buyer) I know that buying from eBay is safe as far as money guarantee is concerned

OK but where does the money come from to reimburse the buyer?

Is eBay making the refund on their own?

Sorry, I can not answer, where they take the funds from. I suspect they still have agreement on that from PayPal - but whatever - they have VERY deep pockets.

Why post the question if you were planning on ignoring the answers from the experts?

What answers are you referring to? Are you referring to the answer of it being real or fake as it seems some experts thinks its real and some don't.
Just would like you to clarify your question for me as it seems you maybe didn't read the entire thread.

Thanks Abdullah

Just for clarity, which are the experts who think it real?

Haywood,
I don't believe it is so, but when I went to contact and cancel the order it had already been shipped. Must wait this one out. It was one of them situations where I didn't know enough and didn't have enough time to research before I bought it but didn't want to kick myself at a possible deal of a years time.
You never know though. It's OK to be optimistic some times.

Imo, you should stay away from these threads.
Everytime that I see you approving with one here, it‘s quite obviously a fake.

I am not saying that I can do better, but I am a bit more careful and keep my mouth shut, when I am not 100% sure.

...this isn’t going to end well.

You should have listened to the experts on this thread (crowncollection, Haywood) that told you to stay away!

Look
I looked at the very poor quality photos, and I think watch may be OK
BUT
I made it clear - I would NEVER have bought the watch, based on those inadequate photos.

I am not authenticating it NOR am I claiming its a all out fake - its impossible to tell yet!

More importantly, I offer my help to the OP if they have any issue with ebay should it be fake.

Thats trying to help and not just criticizing others!

He had already bought the watch!!! Watch had already been shipped.
Impossible to get reversed now until it arrives!

firstly I am not "wrong" or right yet.
Lets see when watch arrives!

2nd I never authenticated this watch, I just felt (as I still do) for good reasons that OP "may" be OK.

Now I suggest you try helping people rather than just trying to put down others.

Good Bye!

I love it when they buy it first, then ask if it’s real!? Basakwards!

You know - we are not here to judge others, but to try to help.
Thats my vision on this forum.

You can call me a dummy all you want if it makes you feel good about yourself. I had a limited amount of time before I or someone else scooped it up. Didn’t have very much time to compare. I wish I had more time, but it wasn’t available. Some situations afford you the time others don’t.

Trace, you may not realize it but the emoji you chose in your earlier post is named dummy. And that is the word that shows up in TapaTalk and other forum apps.

Not a rant - just sharing in the spirit of communication.

My magnet likes it.

They missed with Some of the spray paint.

Oh well. Too good to be true. It feels cheap. Came with DateJust warranty Book. Head is very light. I could send it to LAWW and have them authenticate it.
