Best refill cartridges for MB 162 (LeGrand Rollerball)?

Hi all,

Just wanted to get some recommendations for quality refills for my MB roller-ball. I haven't been too impressed with the factory variants. I've noticed they are very "gritty" on most paper. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

The LeGrand rollerball refill is of different size to their other rollerballs so be careful when ordering 3rd party ones. I'd say check it with Monteverde first. http://www.monteverdepens.com/ecatal...e_refills.html

I agree freefly, my LeGrand is probably one of the worst to write with. I have a better feel from a bic stic. The heft and polish is nice and my wife brought it to me from Paris so I of course use it but it's never felt like that good of a writing tool.

Monteverde is not clear on wether their refills fit the 162. For now is seams we are stuck with montblanc.

I have found that the LeGrand refills can be hit or miss. I usually buy a few as something like 1 and 3 can feel off. Additionally, it seems the F size can be a little more reliable than the M in the LeGrand.
