My Brothers Birthday
For my 13th birthday (4 years ago) I received an Invicta Submariner homage as a gift. This watch started my interest in timepieces and Rolexes and led me to buy the Submariner I have today. Since my brother has begun showing interest in watches and he is the same age I was when I got my first nice watch, I ordered him the Same Invicta for his 13th birthday. Well, it just got here today (which is ironic because today is my birthday!) and he is thrilled with it. I know I made the right choice in this gift and I hope it starts a lifelong passion like it did for me.

Happy birthday my friend and I find your gesture very nice! Both watches in your picture look great and I'm happy to know your brother likes it!
Now let's see how long it will take before Adam finds this thread!

Happy Birthday. I'm sure that sharing your passion brings you as much joy as it does him, and I'm sure that it will serve to bring you two closer and closer through the years. I've always felt lucky to have a brother close to me that understands and shares my hobbies. Kudos to you!

My Invicta 8926OB was for me a reintroduction to the world of mechanical watches, which I found to be less painful than I might have thought.
Of course, without a renewed interest in mechanical watches, I would have never bought a Rolex. The rest is history.

Gifts that you can have and will always remember are the best. I gave my brother a nice watch when he turned 19. Happy birthday to you two/too!
