Online Dealer, HELP!

Hi Everyone,

I am about to buy my first Rolex and found an online dealer with really low prices, makes me a bit suspicious. Has anyone dealt with or heard anything about swiss-wrist.com? I am looking to buy a midsize Datejust, black diamond dial, SS jubilee band, and they are asking $5695, SwissLuxury is about $750 more. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!
Leigh

Can't say I have ever dealt with that company, but they do seem to have a bricks and mortar office/outlet in Miami.

Is the watch new, and if not what is it's condition like, that may explain the price differential.

Good Luck

Hi Steve,

Thanks so much for your reply, yes they say the watch is new and unused, comes with all papers, serial number, original box, etc. (Black diamond dial is also Rolex, not after market.)
Then they issue a 2 year warranty as well as authenticity paperwork which also includes serial number, reference number etc. I can return the watch for a full refund within their 3 day grace period if it turns out to be not authentic. It is just such an amazing price...too good to be true?

Thanks again,
Leigh

I forgot to add that the list price fort this watch is $7800. The $5696 price seems amazingly low. A 27% discount, can such a price me legit?

Thanks again for any help.

We have a ton of FL. members..like HKPerf....send them a PM and see if they know the store....myself...never heard of them....so I can't comment. Again...as stated in a prior thread....since this is your first....best to go to an AD or other store...try it on in person...

Please post here what you do find out... I am looking to buy a Datejust with diamonds for my fiancé for a wedding gift and they have 2 that I want for the lowest proce I've seen... Pictures look legit, but who knows if they are the actual watches or not...

BTW, a few of their dials say "custom" which is bad...

I'm trying to find this exact watch but with a silver face:

Thanks Thomas,

I do appreciate your input, The guy I have been in contact with is Daniel, sales guy there, that's probably who you mean, I'm glad that you had a good experience with them, makes my dilemma even more difficult, AD or online. Everyone here is saying I should go with an AD for my first purchase.

Sna77, I will let you know what I find out, I did ask them if the dial is factory Rolex as opposed to after market and it is, so I would imagine that the silver dial would be the same.

Thanks again to everyone!

Interesting... their prices are definitely $400 lower than the best gray market prices I've seen.... $5500 for the $7650 wathc is a good deal if legit of course...

ran the whois for swiss-wrist... They bough the domain name 02/14/2008, so its not like thye have been in business forever... TRF TomRose11 has bought from them, but he only has 2 posts here...

it matches their "office location, however it is not a showroom" which would have me a bit concerned... absically there is no way to check out their inventory...

Hi sna77,

Very interesting, I'll be back in the states next week, will make some calls, visit a few AD's as well, I promise to let you know what I find out, also interested in Swissluxury.com, more then one TRF member has given good feedback about them, prices are higher then SwissWrist, will see if SL will perhaps match price of SW, or come close, want to see what kind of AD discounts are offered, if any.

Thanks again!

swiss-wrist forsure legit

these guys are certainly legit, as I said before I bought a divers submariner from them, it was exactly as described, they even sized it to fit mywrist. I could not be happier, I spoke to the sales manager about a datejust for my "girlfriend" and he confirmed that many of their watches have custom diamond dials, they dont hide this fact. their number is 1-877-738-3811, he sounds like a good guy, very patient, please post your experiance for everyone. good luck!!

Thanks again Thomas for your post, and I am so glad that you are pleased with your watch. If I may ask, did you get your watch checked out by a local AD to make sure that it is authentic? I am sure that they expect that considering one has the 3 day grace period. Just curious.
I will definitely let you know what I do, and how it all turns out.
sna77 is the 6250 price for the womens size? Interesting.
Thanks again for your information. I do so appreciate it.

No problem, gives me a rough idea about the Midsize 31mm.
I haven't seen one on Ebay that is new, exactly as I want, and in the 31mm. Ebay also makes me nervous, had one VERY bad experience.
Anyway, keep me posted about the watch for your fiancé, and I'll let you know what happens wit my midsize, hopefully soon to be bought dream watch.

That one is always a few hundred cheaper (with the logo dial) for some reason... the solid silver (what she wants) is like $500 more... weird...
